For the people and the city
C3 Liverpool has been going since 2023 under the leadership of Pastors John & Amelia Clarke. The church was relaunched under their leadership and direction, moving the church to the centre of the city, with new vision and values.
Our vision is pointing people to Christ and joining people together. So we love god, love people and love seeing people flourish in their relationship with Jesus. It’s not just about bringing people together to fill a room it’s about joining people together in community and becoming the body of Christ.
A little about our pastors… John & Amelia met whilst studying at university in Liverpool, Amelia moved to the city from near Sheffield and John is from the Wirral, born and raised! Previously to leading the church they were assistant pastors from 2019 and oversaw the student ministry of the church from 2015. Both have completed ministry and leadership training and have been ordained in the C3 global movement of churches. They have 2 sons and love all things fun, coffee and sport!
We believe
There is one God
God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit;
In Jesus Christ
Virgin-born, sinless, wonder-working, crucified for our sins, bodily risen, ascended and interceding for us—will soon return; and that apart from new birth through faith in Him, all people remain spiritually lost.
In The Holy Spirit
In the person and work of the Holy Spirit—His fruit and gifts active in the Church today—and in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a gift for believers, normally evidenced by speaking in tongues.
In The Living Word of God
The Bible is the living, infallible, and authoritative word of God—everlasting in truth and the foundation of all Christian doctrine and faith.
In The Sacraments
Of the Lord’s Supper and baptism by full immersion in water for all believers.
In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost
One to everlasting life and the other to everlasting separation from God.
In the church being the body of Christ
In each member being an active part of the local church, fulfilling the Great Commission.
Planted in Liverpool, part of a global family
C3 Liverpool is a part of a larger family of churches known as C3 Church Global. This movement was started by Ps Phil and Chris Pringle in Sydney, Australia in 1980.
Our movement is an international family, and our members are able to walk into any of our C3 Churches around the world and know they’re home. We are united with Christ in His vision, and therefore our mission is to save the lost, make disciples and build His church.With close to 500 churches in 64 countries, we are seeing God’s love and power stretch across the globe. From Australia to Kazakhstan, from Sweden to Brazil, we are C3.
