What Sundays look like
If you have never been to a church service before or you’re curious about our services, here is what happens.
Bringing children with you
Our C3 Kids team are all DBS checked and safeguarding trained.
When you arrive, head to our C3 Kids Check-In desk and sign in your children. They’ll receive a wristband and will get to meet some of the team. Our children stay in our services for Worship and head out during the welcome with the team. Sessions run for 40 minutes and are made up of worship, games, the Bible and prayer.
Babies and toddlers are welcome to stay in the main room with you. Nobody minds the noise. We have a creche area that has soft matting and some more privacy for those who need it.
How the morning runs
About 90 minutes, start to finish. Stay for coffee; we’d love to get to know you better!
Arrive
Doors open early. A host will meet you at the entrance, point you to our service, and get you a coffee. Come as you are, there is no dress code.
Worship
We start our services with worship, for us, this is through song and music. Words will appear on the screens as our team leads us in worship for you to engage with.
Welcome and notices
A short hello, anything happening that week, and a moment to meet the people around you.
The message
This is where our preaching team speak a message to the Church, designed to equip and encourage you in your journey as a Christian.
Response and prayer
We finish by praying together. If you would like someone to pray with you personally, we have a next steps team who would love to get to know you more and pray with you.
Hang Out
The best bit. Stick around, meet people, ask questions. Grab some friends and head for coffee or lunch!
Common questions
What should I wear?
Whatever you are comfortable in. You will see everything from trainers to smart shirts.
Will I be singled out?
No. We will never ask visitors to stand up or introduce themselves.
Do I have to give money?
No. Giving is for people who call C3 Liverpool home. Visitors are our guests.
I am coming on my own
Plenty of people do, especially students. Tell a host at the door and they will seat you and make sure you are comfortable.
Is it accessible?
Step free access and accessible toilets are available. We are working on a new hearing assistance system which we hope to be live soon.
Can I leave early?
Of course. Sit near the back if that helps and slip out whenever you need to.
Where can I park?
There is on-street paid parking around the venue, and a few paid car parks nearby. Give yourself a few extra minutes on a first visit.
